Pastors Ivan and Hiroko Fox - Serving the community of Sechelt for 25 years
This amazing couple was sent to the Sunshine Coast, from the Bible Fellowship Missionary Society of Surrey, B.C. in 1983, by Pastor Mel Davis. They began their Ministry by holding services in the Old Seniors Hall on Mermaid St., and a few years later moved to where the SCRD building was on Wharf St.
Ivan and Hiroko felt it was God’s calling for them to remain on the Coast, so in 1996 they purchased land at 5895 Reef Rd. and built their own Church, which also houses Little Scholars Day Care.
Sechelt Community Church has continued to grow steadily, with future plans for expansion of the Church and Day Care.
Hiroko and the Ladies group have been serving Arrowhead and working with the Food Bank to help those most in need on the Coast.
Over the years Ivan has been called to Minister in Indonesia, Nigeria, England, Mexico and Japan, which is very dear to his heart and to where he has been asked to return to several times on Missionary trips.
Together, Ivan and Hiroko have Ministered and provided counselling for all people, all over the Coast, and we are Truly Blessed to have them.
